MEMBERSHIP PRACTICES
ARAMA Queensland Inc. offers all stakeholders in the Management Rights industry, the opportunity to join our association. The following describes the qualification and some of the benefits for these membership types. Additional Industry benefits are listed in the section titled About ARAMA.
A Practising Member: is a person who owns and operates management rights covered by the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997 and is licensed under the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act 2000 to operate a letting business. If the management rights are owned by a trust or company, the person applying for membership as a Practising Member must be a trustee or director of the trust or company and appointed as a delegate. Additionally, the person, in the opinion of the branch committee, is bona fide.
Practising Member benefits include:
An Associate Member: is a person who may not own a management rights property, but has a kindred interest in promoting the industry. Employee managers can apply for Associate Membership. Individuals who are professionals, suppliers or service providers can apply. Additionally, the person, in the opinion of the branch committee, is bona fide.
Associate Member benefits include:
A Corporate Member: (or Affiliate Member) is an organisation approved by the branch committee as having a kindred interest in promoting the industry and may appoint up to four delegates.
Corporate Member benefits include:
